The Home of the Brave!

With baseball almost over and the World Series just right around the corner we are now in the midst of the League Championship Series. We have the Astros taking on the Rays in what should be a somewhat boring series. On the other side of the coin we have the Dodgers taking on the Braves in what could be the best National League Series we have seen in years. So how did the Atlanta Braves get here?

1) Building up their farm with starting pitching. This is something that has been successful for the Braves for many years and continues to prove to work. No Sorotka, no Hamels, no problem. Why? Because this team is doing it with young pitching and one of the Cy Young Candidates is actually a rookie this season for the Braves.

2) Determination and grit. This team has got this far and could really show the Dodgers the door if they continue to show that they are the most determined and want the trophy more than any other team in the Major Leagues this season.

3) Wonderful coaching staff. You look at what the Atlanta Braves have done this season and they couldn't have done it without the coaching staff that the organization has. And if we want to go into the surface you have to give kudos to their GM for not making changes at the trade deadline. That says a lot to the young players that you trust them and you know they can do it. From GM on down this team continues to defy the odds.

With that being said what we have here is the home of the Braves and the land of the free. If we are looking at a team that anyone of the other three teams should fear it should be the Atlanta Braves. So do the Braves make the World Series? What about the Astros?
