Wacky Wednesday Wisdom

Good afternoon and Happy Wacky Wednesday Y'all! In this week's installment of Wacky Wednesday Wisdom we are going to discuss the NFL having the draft and why they should have the draft? Too many people running scared for the hills and it's about time a sports entity stood up and said: Hey it's time. With that being said let's look at this weeks Wacky Wednesday Wisdom.

So many sports figures are up in arms over the fact that Commissioner Roger Goodell has stated that the NFL Draft is going to go as planned and even telling teams that if they disagree with the situation and publicly air their displeasure there will be consequences. First and foremost, my hat is being tipped to Roger for continuing to hold the draft. In the day and age that we live in all people want to care about is a disease that while it is very important there are other things out there that we can do to distract ourselves from the constant coverage of the disease. What Roger Goodell is doing is amazing! WHY? Because he is not bowing down to anyone and not letting a "disease" dictate his life or the life of the NFL fans out there.

Next for the big question in the room: Why even hold the draft in the first place? Again, as I previously mentioned we as fans as sports fans are SICK AND TIRED of the constant coverage of this disease. What do people truly want? They truly want some normalcy in their lives and if the NFL and Roger Goodell can provide that, then so be it. Also, with today's technology the NFL can still hold the draft while still adhering to the "social distancing" guidelines. Many analysts are completely frustrated with Roger because none of these so call sports analysts can think outside the box. There are so many technology platforms out there that will and can allow the NFL to hold the draft and not end up with a single case of this disease.

Why are the sports analysts really frustrated with the NFL on still holding the draft? First and foremost, it is the fact that these sports analysts are BUTT HURT that they will not be able to cover the draft live and in living color. This is the big elephant in the room no sports analyst want to talk about. Also, they think because this is a pandemic we should just shut it all down and just live in our homes forever NOT ever being able to enjoy life again. Don't believe me? Look at some of the tweets of some of the biggest NFL sports analysts out there.

So that is this week's installment of Wacky Wednesday Wisdom. As you can see we in the sports world or even just in the world need some normalcy in our lives and if the NFL can provide that then let the NFL Draft continue. So what are your thoughts? Should the NFL hold the draft or are there other things that deserve ou

r constant undivided attention? My guess is if you are a TRUE SPORTS FAN you will say, Let's hold this draft and have some normalcy in life. Well that is this week's installment of Wacky Wednesday Wisdom. Until next week, stay safe and sane!
