Wacky Wednesday Wisdom

Well, well, well! Happy Wednesday Wisdom folks! OK, I get it I am a few days late posting as one would say I am three days late and three dollars short. Today's Wacky Wednesday Wisdom will be a question and answer session. Keep them coming!

1) Do you think it is wise that the Atlanta Falcons have retained Dan Quinn? Sarina P. Atlanta, GA

---This is one that I think is a wise move. At least for now it seems to be a wise move as he has an offseason to get the train back on the tracks in Atlanta. I don't think he gets much time next season to get it figured out though. He will be fired by mid-season if he can't right the ship

2) Should Jason Garrett be fired? Larry F. North Richland Hills, TX

---ABSOLUTELY! This is a question that I seem to get every week and try to give my 10 cents every week on Lime City Radio Network. There is NO doubt in my mind he will be fired at the close of this season. I really think the things that you can look closely at over the last three weeks are things like closed door player only meeting(Michael Bennett held one after a loss to the Jets and tried getting this team on track). Second, wide open receivers during the Eagles game and that just shows me that the players have officially "checked out" on their head coach.

3) Which MLB team right now is winning the offseason? Frank D. Los Angeles, CA

---Chicago White Sox hands down. Most people would expect me to say the New York Yankees or Los Angeles Angels with the mega-deals they did. However, the White Sox have went out and practically revamped their lineup and starting rotation to the point they will be competing in the AL Central if they can remain healthy this team could very well improve by 20-25 wins.

4) What are your thoughts on the XFL? Will it succeed or flop like it did the first time? Dean S. St. Louis, MO

---If you are asking my thoughts as in "personal" thoughts I really think Vince McMahon won't screw this up like he did the first time. He already has a few things going for him this time around. He has several television networks lined up and set to air the XFL season, he has coaches and GM's who look like they care and are willing to make this happen, they aren't trying to shove the season down everyone's throats. Now for a couple of negatives: the fact they aren't trying to shove it down everyone's throats is a negative as they can't promote it that well. Yes, they are promoting the league but there are few and far between events for fans to attend and get to know the team. I honestly think by the second week of the season we will know if this thing will succeed.

5) Top sports stories for 2020? Alisyn A. Huntsville, AL

---LOL! You will have to wait to find out on Lime City Radio Network on Wednesday night New Years Day! If you have not checked it out stop by search: Lime City Radio Network on Facebook NOT only for the Jimmy K Sports Show but also for the other wonderful content.
