Why no love for the Big 12?

Today both the Associated Press and Coaches poll along with 2 others came out for NCAA Football, but guess what division is NOT in the Playoff Top 4? You guessed it the Big 12! With that being said, I'm going to briefly explain why the Big 12 is getting NO LOVE.

First and foremost, the Big 12 nonconference games are leaving a lot to be desired when it comes to making the Playoff Top 4. The only nonconference game that was even of any relevance was that of the OU/Tennessee matchup. Even with that game what you had was the Sooners barely coming out on top. Other than that in particular game you have NO nonconference games of relevence making it very tough at the end of the day to put any Big 12 team in the tournament.

Secondly, the Big 12 does NOT have a conference championship game. The Big 12 lacks the twelve teams that it takes to have a conference championship game with a measly ten teams. The Big 12 is trying to recruit two more teams to the conference to make things a little more interesting. This is another HUGE factor as to why the Big 12 is getting NO LOVE in the college football Top 4 playoffs.

Thirdly, you have a division that continues to just stack up the points and with the points that are always stacked up you can guarantee that the Big 12 does NOT know how to play defense. I know I am being facetious with that statement but sometimes OK 99.945% of the time it looks like a high scoring affair. There are only two unbeatens left in the NCAA College Football realm and they are going to be in my Top 4.

With all of this being said, I'm a fan of the Big 12 and think this year may be the year that one cracks into the Top 4. However, if they are NOT ranked in the Top 4 then you can clearly see at least 3 reasons why they are not. Good luck to the Big 12 and other divisions as this is how my Top 25 stack up with the AP Poll:
